AI Ethics and Governance Framework
Context and Motivation
As AI becomes more integrated into Pangea (bots, assistants, moderation), we need clear ethical guidelines. This framework establishes rules for AI transparency, accountability, and human oversight. Example: the Pangea AI assistant must disclose when it is generating a response versus quoting a human citizen.
Legal Provision
Article 1: All AI systems must be explainable and auditable. Article 2: AI cannot autonomously make governance decisions. Article 3: AI bias audits required quarterly. Article 4: Citizens have the right to opt out of AI-assisted features. Article 5: An AI Ethics Committee is established.
