Global Carbon Tax Framework
Context and Motivation
The Green Future Movement proposes a carbon tax on all commercial activities within Pangea. Revenue would fund renewable energy projects and climate adaptation. The tax would start at $25/ton CO2 and increase 5% annually. Example: a company operating in the European Union jurisdiction would pay based on their verified emissions, with proceeds going to the Renewable Energy Working Group initiatives.
